Family Medicine Residency Showcase Virtual Series

What are the FMR Showcase Virtual Events?
The Family Medicine Education Consortium (FMEC) offers virtual meetings to introduce interested medical students and others to the many outstanding Family Medicine Residency Programs in the northeast U.S. Faculty in family medicine residency programs present on an emerging and exciting topic in family medicine, while also spotlighting their residency programs and what makes them strong and unique.

Why participate?
Not only will you hear excellent presentations and learn from family medicine experts, but the Showcases are an opportunity to hear more about some stellar family medicine residency programs, without going to a residency fair at a conference. Family medicine residents and faculty – learn more and hear from your peers! Medical students nationwide – sign up to learn more about family medicine and hear about these residency programs and their communities. Ask your questions, meet some faculty, and get more information before applying!

When are the FMR Showcase Virtual Events?
The registration for the 2024 series will open in spring of 2024. Sessions are held midweek (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) from July 16 - September 5 at 6pm Eastern. The webinars are free, but you must register, and registration is quick and easy.

Are FMR Showcases  available online after the presentations?
Yes, the FMEC records and posts these webinars on our YouTube channel. But we encourage you to join live so you can ask questions!
